About

Fields & Stations publishes good writing for curious travellers. The magazine is devoted to the magic of both the far-flung and the familiar, balancing the everyday and the remarkable. Fields & Stations focusses on little cultural objects (a shop; a cocktail; a sandwich) to tell big stories.

Editor Alex Robertson Textor is a California-born travel writer and editor, based in London. He has written and edited for a wide range of magazines, newspapers, blogs, and guidebooks across the English-speaking travel publishing landscape.

Art Director & Graphic Designer A. Marta Ferreira has over 10 years of experience working for clients from all over the world, with a degree in Communication Design and an MA on Typography and Editorial Practices, currently working on a PhD in Design and Digital Media.

Copy editor Marisa Robertson-Textor is a food and travel writer who recently decamped to Portland, Oregon after many years in New York City. She's currently plotting trips to Tunisia, Baja, South Africa, Hong Kong, and the Altai. You can find more about her at mitschlag.com.
