Update from Lisbon

Hi. It's been a while.

2020, ooof. We had planned to get two issues out this year. Then the pandemic happened, along with a range of related things, both predictable and otherwise.

The upshot is that we are still here and excited about our future as a publication. We are retooling and preparing for a relaunch and, at long last, officially moving Fields & Stations to Portugal.

Unfortunately, while this is ongoing, our shop is closed. It will reopen soon.

The great news is that our next issue is almost done. It's collection of impassioned deeper dives, with stories from Cairo, Atlanta, Mongolia, San Juan, Philadelphia, and Antarctica, an essay on the importance of decolonising travel writing, and shorter pieces on Macau, Asmara, Lisbon, and the world's most exciting cocktails. Plus our first manifesto.

Thank you for your patronage, your interest, and your patience.
